CASE STUDY: COMPANY DIRECTOR
"Monica's coaching has been enormously helpful in helping me to make choices and navigate the transition to a new chapter of my life."
London Coaching Associates worked with an IT Company Director who wanted to change career direction. The client was trained in finance and accounting and she was keen to move to a sector where she could work with people and use her creative skills.
Using a twelve week programme, Monica helped her to identify key skills and interests and to explore new career options. The client's confidence was boosted by recording her achievements and successes so far. The essentials of an ideal work environment were clarified and the search for a match between her expertise and the job opportunities began. The coaching programme encouraged her to assert her values in making future career decisions.
Initially she worked as a freelance consultant to train and mentor staff engaged in change management and project management. Later she was contracted to a leading outsourcing consultancy. She enjoyed the move to a new field and the stimulating learning curve that has followed it.
CASE STUDY: STRESS MANAGEMENT WORKSHOPS
" I found it very valuable to my every day and working life."
" The workshop was of great value for dealing with colleagues and the public (and at home!)."
‘‘ I thought that the workshop was very good, very well run and informative."
London Coaching Associates delivered a bespoke programme of 12 half day workshops for NHS Practice Managers and staff. These were designed to assist them in managing stress and help them improve communication. Understanding the symptoms and causes of stress and finding ways to handle stress are very important to staff working in this high pressured environment with many daily challenges.
The workshops helped them to improve their awareness of the signs and causes of stress and trained them in a range of skills and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) techniques to help them manage stress, work together as a team and communicate more effectively, thus improving the health and wellbeing of all staff participating.
CASE STUDY: COACHING PROGRAMME FOR FIRST LINE MANAGERS
"My manager told me he has never seen such a huge improvement in someone as he has in me, since attending coaching sessions. This is reflected in the amount of additional work and responsibility he has given me."

"The coaching programme has helped with techniques to get through a difficult staff problem and keep others motivated......the team are very positive towards me as their new manager."
London Coaching Associates coached a group of staff on a one to one basis, who had all recently been promoted to their first line management roles. Their challenges varied from lack of confidence to staff performance issues to communication problems.
With just 6 structured 90-minute coaching sessions each, tailored to their specific individual needs, Lindsay helped them all to address their challenges and become more effective managers, faster then they could have achieved alone.
Using coaching skills and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) techniques, small changes to their attitude, approach and behaviours could be effected which made a positive, visible difference to their performance in their new roles.
