CASE STUDY: COMPANY DIRECTOR

"The effect of Deborah's coaching has been to allow me to be much clearer about what I am trying to achieve in life and work, and how to achieve it. I'm still pretty busy and still have plenty of thinking to do about various projects, but I feel more in control, calmer and more successful."

London Coaching Associates worked with a company director who found herself facing the usual issues in that she didn't feel she had enough hours in the day. She felt constantly overwhelmed as she felt that she had too much to do and found it difficult working out where to start in getting it done….common challenges these days.

After completing the twelve sessions of the Work Life Balance Programme (One on One), she now has a clarity about what is important in both her work and home environments. As a result, she has identified where she wants to take her company. Not only is her business thriving but she feels much more in control of her life, is delegating efficiently and is also taking holidays - and feeling ok about doing so.

Through the Programme, she was able to identify her priorities and goals, as well as her challenges. Once these areas had been clarified, the client was able to move forward and identify what she really wanted to focus on, what could be delegated and, finally, what could be dropped – and there were quite a few things on that list!

The client also identified practical steps that she could implement in the workplace and at home to assist her in achieving the success she wanted

CASE STUDY: LAW FIRM PARTNER

"When you're managing a company, it can sometimes be a slightly friendless environment and Deborah has acted as a brilliant sounding board for work issues and ideas. She has an intuitive ability to ask the right questions allowing me to deliver the obvious right answers for both my business and myself."

London Coaching Associates worked with one of several partners in an expanding city practice. The partner was seeking focus and clarity in developing his client base. He was also looking for confidence building in his own abilities, particularly around networking and bringing in the business required to build the practice.

Deborah designed a bespoke programme to deal with his particular needs

Following the 12 sessions of the programme, the client had a clear idea of his target market and a renewed enthusiasm regarding the building of the business. As a result he found a sense of purpose in networking and attracting new clients. This increased enthusiasm and motivation impacted on his approach to client work so his productivity increased favourably.

CASE STUDY: COMPANY DIRECTOR

"Monica's coaching has been enormously helpful in helping me to make choices and navigate the transition to a new chapter of my life."

London Coaching Associates worked with an IT Company Director who wanted to change career direction. The client was trained in finance and accounting and she was keen to move to a sector where she could work with people and use her creative skills.

Using a twelve week programme, Monica helped her to identify key skills and interests and to explore new career options. The client's confidence was boosted by recording her achievements and successes so far. The essentials of an ideal work environment were clarified and the search for a match between her expertise and the job opportunities began. The coaching programme encouraged her to assert her values in making future career decisions.

Initially she worked as a freelance consultant to train and mentor staff engaged in change management and project management. Later she was contracted to a leading outsourcing consultancy. She enjoyed the move to a new field and the stimulating learning curve that has followed it.

CASE STUDY: STRESS MANAGEMENT WORKSHOPS

" I found it very valuable to my every day and working life."

" The workshop was of great value for dealing with colleagues and the public (and at home!)."

‘ I thought that the workshop was very good, very well run and informative."

London Coaching Associates delivered a bespoke programme of 12 half day workshops for NHS Practice Managers and staff. These were designed to assist them in managing stress and help them improve communication. Understanding the symptoms and causes of stress and finding ways to handle stress are very important to staff working in this high pressured environment with many daily challenges.

The workshops helped them to improve their awareness of the signs and causes of stress and trained them in a range of skills and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) techniques to help them manage stress, work together as a team and communicate more effectively, thus improving the health and wellbeing of all staff participating.

CASE STUDY: COACHING PROGRAMME FOR FIRST LINE MANAGERS

"My manager told me he has never seen such a huge improvement in someone as he has in me, since attending coaching sessions. This is reflected in the amount of additional work and responsibility he has given me."

"I have become stronger and more focused as a Manager and more confident in my approach, due to the coaching programme. I have made a lot of improvements to my team as a result."

"The coaching programme has helped with techniques to get through a difficult staff problem and keep others motivated......the team are very positive towards me as their new manager."

London Coaching Associates coached a group of staff on a one to one basis, who had all recently been promoted to their first line management roles. Their challenges varied from lack of confidence to staff performance issues to communication problems.

With just 6 structured 90-minute coaching sessions each, tailored to their specific individual needs, Lindsay helped them all to address their challenges and become more effective managers, faster then they could have achieved alone.

Using coaching skills and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) techniques, small changes to their attitude, approach and behaviours could be effected which made a positive, visible difference to their performance in their new roles.
